Osimhen rounds up pre-season in style with Napoli

The Neapolitans rounded up their preparations for the new season with their Nigerian import showing his quality once again 

Victor Osimhen was the star as Napoli finished their pre-season campaign with a 4-0 win over Pescara at Castel di Sangro.

The Super Eagles attacker scored the opening goal to end his pre-season campaign with eight goals from five games.

Osimhen opened his pre-season campaign with four goals in Napoli’s thrashing of Anaunia before scoring the winner against Pro Vercelli.

He took it a level higher with a brace in the 3-0 thrashing of Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena. His strike against Pescara is the cherry on the cake of what has been a fantastic pre-season under Luciano Spalletti.

Osimhen will now hope to carry his form into the new Serie A season, which begins next weekend. Napoli take on newly-promoted Venezia in their first match, and that could see Osimhen come up against his international compatriots, Tyronne Ebuehi and David Okereke.
