It’s another week of international football, with this one promising a few juicy fixtures. We get to find out what teams progress to the round-of-16 at the Euros as well as the Quarter-finals at Copa America.

As football fans get ready to be entertained and make predictions on bet9ja, we will be taking a quick look at the top games for this week. Here are the five Football matches to look out for this week.

Sweden vs Poland

Group E leaders seek to secure the point that would see them through to the knockout stages while their opponents must win to snatch a place in the top two as Poland take on Sweden in one of the Euro final group games.

Sweden have an excellent record against Poland, having won 14 matches out of 26 games played between the two teams. Poland have managed only eight wins against Sweden and will need to take it up a notch in this fixture.

Portugal vs France

Reigning European champions, Portugal take on 2016 runners-up France in their final game of Euro 2020 Group F on Wednesday.

The French team remain at the top of the group despite playing a 1-1 draw with Hungary on matchday two, while Portugal currently find themselves in third after their 4-2 defeat to Germany.

As was the case in 2016, the reigning European champions now find themselves fighting to make one of the top two spots before the final matchday in the group of death, and if results do not go their way, Santos will have to hold on to the hope that his side can progress as one of the best third-placed outfits.

Brazil vs Colombia

Tournament hosts, Brazil is leading Group B in remarkable fashion, yet to concede a goal. On the other hand, Colombia allowed a surprising defeat against Peru. Both teams lock horns on Thursday as the Copa America group stage continues.

Wales vs Denmark

Wales and Denmark face-off in the first game of the round-of-16 stage at the EURO 2020. The Dragons came second in Group A, while the Danes also ended in the second position, only in Group B.

The game promises to be an exciting one as none of the 10 previous meetings between Wales and Denmark in all competitions have finished level, with Wales winning four to Denmark’s six.

Italy vs Austria

Italy secured their 100 per cent record in the group stage courtesy of a 1-0 win against Wales and are yet to concede a goal in the tournament so far. On the other end are Austria, who have been decent in this tournament but haven’t been impressive enough to give Italy something to worry about.

Nevertheless, fans are still in for a treat as Austria can really put up a fight when they want to.
