The 2019/2020 domestic football season in England is finally over, and a lot of players are using their downtime to unwind
Super Eagles star, Semi Ajayi is still basking in the euphoria of West Brom’s promotion to the Premier League, and he was seen hanging out with Nigeria’s pop star, Wizkid.
Semi joined the Baggies from Rotherham at the beginning of the just-concluded season. While some players take some time to settle at a new club, Semi had no such problems, playing a massive role in West Brom’s promotion to the top-flight.
The 26-year-old was a rock in Slaven Bilic’s defence while his aerial prowess was also a threat from set-pieces. He made 43 appearances in the Championship, scoring five times from a centre-back position to help West Brom back to the Premier League.
Although the new Premier League season kicks off on September 12, players are currently on a break, and Semi is using his time to hang out with fellow countryman.
The Super Eagles star posted a picture of himself and Nigeria’s biggest pop star, Wizkid on his Instagram page.
Semi won’t get to spend a lot of time on vacation, however, as West Brom start their preseason training in two weeks.
