The former Borussia Dortmund star revealed earlier this week that he would never manage the Super Eagles again, but has now clarified his statement.
Sunday Oliseh has revealed he could coach Nigeria again but not under the same conditions he worked in the past.
The former Nigeria international was appointed as the team’s manager in 2015, but he was only in that role for just eight months.
Oliseh’s time as Super Eagles manager was a turbulent one, falling out with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) officials and also some of his players.
The former Ajax midfielder complained about some of the treatments he received from the NFF during his time as Super Eagles manager.
In a recent interview with The Punch Oliseh said he would never coach Nigeria again because indigenous coaches are not treated the same way as foreign managers.
However, in a video he uploaded on his Twitter account, Oliseh admits he could return as Super Eagles manager in the future, but it will be under the same terms given to foreign managers.
“I will never abandon Nigeria, I’m a proud Nigeria and I will always be available to help Nigeria, that was what I said clearly on the interview when asked if I would accept to coach the Super Eagles again”.
“But what I will like to clarify is that as long as the situation is as it is now, as long as our own citizens are not given the right treatment, are not being allowed get right working conditions like foreigners get when they come to coach our motherland, I’m not interested,”
