Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi is getting a lot of praises following his impressive performances for both club and country over the last few years.
Former Arsenal star and Super Eagles teammate Alex Iwobi recently praised the midfielder’s ability, saying he is like two players on the pitch.
Ndidi has been a key figure for both club and country, but he has taken his performances a level higher this season.
The 23-year-old is playing a vital role in Leicester’s brilliant season before it was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
He’s the fulcrum of a Leicester side that once looked like they would challenge Liverpool for the Premier League title this season.
The Foxes currently sit third on the league table, and they are well on course to qualify for the champions league next season.
And one of the reasons for the Foxes surge is Ndidi’s performance. The Super Eagles star stops opposition’s attacking play while he’s also the foundation that sets up Leicester’s attack.
He’s currently joint second as the player with most interceptions in the Premier League this season (61). His performances have earned him praises from international teammate Alex Iwobi.
Speaking in an Instagram live session, the Everton star said; “Having Ndidi on the pitch is like having two players on the pitch, He is that good.
Ndidi has featured 29 times for Brendan Rodgers men this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
