Betting Tips: Make Profits With Chelsea, Man City, Barcelona And Juventus Games

Another weekend of football is upon us, and for betting fans looking to gain a few bucks, it’s time to say, “Thank God it’s Friday.”

After thoroughly thrilling rounds of matches in the Champions League and the Europa League, attentions switch back to league football across Europe.

Soccernet Nigeria has toured the biggest leagues on the continent to bring you betting tips that could see you win big.

Chelsea vs Tottenham

All eyes will be on this London derby as Spurs boss Jose Mourinho leads his charges out against his former employers at the ground where his greatest Premier League feats were achieved.

He faces a Chelsea team managed by one of his most significant former lieutenants, Frank Lampard. The last time these two teams met in December, Chelsea beat Spurs 2-0, and Mourinho will be aiming for his pound of flesh.

That might prove to be a difficult task, though, with Spurs missing two key goal scorers Son Heung-Min and Harry Kane, due to injury. Lampard is without his star striker, Tammy Abraham, as well, heading into a crucial battle for the top four.

More than just a Lampard vs Mourinho clash, this game could be a Champions League decider as only one-point separates Chelsea in 4th from Spurs in 5th.

Match Facts

Under 2.5 goals were scored in three of the last four meetings between the clubs.

Tottenham failed to register in two of their last three Premier League away games.

Prediction

With both teams limited in their attacking options and recent matches between them seeing fewer than three goals, not much goalscoring action is expected in a game that could be decided by a single goal.

Tip: (Under 2.5 goals scored)

Leicester City vs Man City

With Liverpool already running away with Manchester City’s title, the Citizens are battling with the Foxes for the runners-up slot.

Pep Guardiola’s side have endured one of the most controversial weeks in the club’s history and have to regain focus quickly or lose the race for the second spot to the Foxes.

This, though, is not the best of time for Brendan Rodgers men to be facing the champions with the Foxes winning just three of their last ten league games.

Man City are far from being perfect at the moment, but they still have enough firepower to shoot down a struggling Leicester City, who could be without key man Wilfred Ndidi, at the King Power Stadium.

Match Facts

Leicester City won only three of their last 10 Premier League games.

The Foxes won just one of their last five league contests at the King Power Stadium.

Man City lost just one of their last seven top-flight tussles.

City eased past Leicester in a 3-1 win just before Christmas.

Prediction

The Citizens made light work of Leicester when they turned the Foxes over 3-1 at the Etihad just before Christmas in the team’s reverse league fixture.

The defending champions, we think, should complete the double over their hosts in Saturday’s rematch.

Tip: Man City to Win

Barcelona vs Eibar

Barca return on Saturday to the Camp Nou, the ground where they have dropped just two points all season, to face an Eibar side that have won only once on the road this term.

Only one point separates the champions and Real Madrid following their 2-1 triumph at home to Getafe last week, and a win could see them leapfrog their bitter rivals.

Eleven wins and one draw in 12 games this campaign show the Catalans are near-invincible at the Camp Nou. And going against an Eibar side who are notoriously poor travellers, this clash should be a straight forward win for the hosts.

Match Facts

Barca have won ten of 11 previous meetings between the sides (one draw), securing all of those victories by a two-goal margin or better.

Prediction

Quique Setien’s charges have the chance to go top of the La Liga table temporarily, and they are expected to oblige with a win against an opponent who will be there for the taking.

Tip: Barcelona to win and Under 4.5

Spal vs Juventus

The champions have been dragged into one of the closest title races the Serie A has witnessed in recent years, and they will need to hold off two tough oppositions in Lazio and Inter Milan to claim their ninth league title on the bounce.

A trip to the Stadio Paolo Mazza awaits this weekend to face a Spal team who could see their stay in the Italian top-flight come to an end.

SPAL have won 15 points in this Serie A season; only one of the previous 18 teams with this number of points after 24 Serie A games (in the three points era) avoided relegation (Crotone in 2016/17).

And with the Old Lady rarely struggling against bottom clubs, this tie should Mauricio Sarri’s men bag all three points away from home.

Match Facts

The league leaders have beaten the bottom club in their last five clashes.

Juventus have seen both teams score in 75% of their away trips.

SPAL have scored and lost in their last four matches, shipping 12 goals.

A third of Juve’s away games have seen them win 2-1.

Prediction

Juventus have claimed a remarkable 18 wins from 24 league games played so far, and one more victory should be added at the end of the Spal game.

Tip: Juventus to win and over 1.5

Lille vs Toulouse

Les Dogues suffered a massive setback to their bid to finish 2nd last week as they threw away their lead to lose 2-1 at home to Marseille eventually.

Osimhen and co can get back on track, though, with a win against Ligue 1’s bottom side. Toulouse are struggling for a reason; they have suffered 15 defeats and claim just a draw in their last 16 matches, amassing an awful run of form.

This tie should pose little problem for a Lille side that have the third-best home record in Ligue 1 with nine wins and just two losses coming in their 13 games at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

Match Facts

Lille possess the third-best home record in Ligue 1 so far, with 29 of a possible 39 points picked up at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

Prediction

Christophe Galtier’s men have won each of their three matches before the Marseille loss and should get back on their feet here if they want to stay in the race for Champions League football.

They will have the backing of their home crowd, though, which will be a big boost here.

Tip: Lille to win and Under 3.5 goals

Bayern Munich vs Paderborn

Bundesliga champions and current leaders Bayern Munich face off against the league’s last-placed side, Paderborn, in what is a typical Goliath vs David contest.

This particular David, though, stands no chance as Bayern are currently undefeated in each of their last eight Bundesliga games. In fact, the champions have won seven of their last eight Bundesliga fixtures and are the most inform team in the German topflight.

Match Facts

Bayern Munich have kept a clean sheet in each of their last three Bundesliga home games.

Paderborn have currently got the Bundesliga’s joint-lowest away goalscoring record.

Bayern Munich have scored at least three goals in six of their last eight Bundesliga fixtures.

Paderborn have failed to score in three of their last four games versus Bayern Munich.

Prediction

Goals are expected aplenty in this contest as Bayern look to strengthen their hold at the top of the league.

Tips: Bayern Munich to score over 2.5 goals
