The Super Eagles midfielder completed a six-month loan move to La Liga side Getafe, but Stoke City fans are not happy with the Potters decision to let Etebo leave.
The former Warri Wolves struggled for game time at the Britannia Stadium this season with him making just 15 appearances for the club.
However, Stoke City fans believe the club should not have let him go as he is one of their best players. Etebo was voted as Stoke City’s fans player of the season last campaign, but he has struggled to replicate the form this season due to injuries. Nevertheless, the club’s fans expressed their anger at seeing the 24-year-old leave for La Liga.
Etebo joins Getafe on an initial six-month loan deal, but the Azulones have the option of making the move permanent. The Nigeria international will be hoping to make his debut for José Bordalás when they take on Leganes next Friday.
