Nigeria vs England: I’m Yet To Decide On My International Future – Arsenal Midfielder, Saka

Arsenal midfielder, Bukayo Saka has reiterated that he’s yet to make a final decision on his international future.

Having represented the England youth team, the youngster is still in a good position to play for the Three Lions of England and the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the senior level.

Saka has managed two goals and provided five assists in 15 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners.

He also played all 90 minutes as Arsenal held Everton to a goalless draw at the Goodison Park in Saturday’s Premier League clash, that had the club’s new manager, Mikel Arteta on the stand.

Speaking with BBC Sports, Saka stated that he has not received any formal invitation from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and The England FA on the possibility of representing his choice of country.

He revealed that he’s yet to make a decision on the country he would play for.

“I am always thinking about it but I haven’t made a decision yet,” Saka told BBC Sport.

“No-one has been in touch but when I make a decision you will find out.”

Saka made his senior debut for the Gunners in 2018 and played in his first Premier League game against Fulham in January 2019 at the age of 17, becoming the first player born in 2001 to play in the English top-flight.
