Bukayo Saka, Arsenal 1-1 Wolves

Arsenal’s youngster Bukayo Saka was a second half substitute in Gunners 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton in a premiership match on Saturday at the Emirates stadium.

Saka was introduced into the match in the 73rd minute for Lucas Torreira but help the Gunners seal all three points as a Raul Jimenez goal canceled out a first half strike from Gabonese striker Emerick Aubameyang.

Wilfred Ndidi, Crystal Palace 0-2 Leicester City

Midfield enforcer Wilfred Ndidi saw full action as Leicester City returned to third place in the Premier League seeing off Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon thanks to goals from Caglar Soyuncu and Jamie Vardy at Selhurst Park.

Ndidi was at his dominant best in the middle of the park, finishing the game against the Eagles with a game-high eight successful tackles to help the Foxes claim yet another clean sheet.

Victor Osimhen, Marseille 2-1 Lille

The Super Eagles striker recovered quickly from the knock he pucked up in his last league game as he played the final 25 minutes against Marseille but he could not help Les Dogues avoid another away defeat.

After a goalless first half, Samson put the hosts ahead moments after the restart before a Magalhaes own goal with ten minutes left to play extended Marseille’s lead and rendered Soumaoro’s late goal for Lille a mere consolation.

Samuel Chukwueze, Villarreal 0-0 Athletic Bilbao

The Yellow Submarines were kept silent all game by a struggling Athletic Bilbao side’s and even when Samuel Chukwueze was introduced in the 63rd minute for Moreno, he still could not inspire the home side to beat a very dogged opponent.

William Troost-Ekong, Genoa 1-3 Udinese

Udinese finally arrested a run of poor results by hammering Genoa 3-1 with Troost-Ekong solid at the heart of the defence.

Pandev opened the scoring for the hosts but De Paul quickly leveled proceedings for the visitors before two goals in the last three minutes of the game from Sema and Lasagna secured maximum points for Udinese.

David Okereke, Club Brugge 3-0 Kortrijk

Nigeria forward David Okereke was on target in Club Brugge’s 3-0 home victory over Kortrijk in Saturday’s Belgian First Division A clash.

Okereke, 21, came from the bench in the 62nd minute to seal his side’s win after a Hans Vanaken’s brace had given Philippe Clement’s men a 2-0 halftime lead.

So far the Nigerian youngster’s strike made it three goals in his last three games for Brugge, who remain unbeaten in the current campaign, having picked up an impressive 33 points from a possible 39.

Joe Aribo, Rangers 3-0 Hearts

Super Eagles hero against Brazil, Aribo, entered the match with an hour gone and did his bit to ensure the Gers overcame the challenge of Hearts in the Scottish Cup encounter.

Helander on the stroke of halftime handed Steven Gerard’s men the lead before a second half brace from Morelos secured Rangers place in the finals.

Compatriot Sheyi Ojo started the game but was replaced by Defoe in the 82nd minute.

Daniel Akpeyi, Orlando Pirates 2-2 Kaiser Chiefs (AET)

Daniel Akpeyi saved two spot kicks as Kaizer Chiefs booked a place in the semi-final of the 2019 Telkom tournament by defeating Pirates 4-2 on penalties after scores stood at 2-2 at the end of extra time on Saturday at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
