Luiz, Ozil And Tierney Star In Arsenal Player Ratings

Arsenal dropped points in front of their home fans for the second Premier League game in succession as Wolves came from behind to snatch a draw at the Emirates.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put the Gunners in front, turning home Alexandre Lacazette’s cut-back from 12 yards in the first half. But Wolves piled on the pressure after the break and it told as Raul Jimenez nodded home Joao Moutinho’s cross 15 minutes from time.

Soccernet.ng rate the performance of the Arsenal players against Wolves.

Bernd Leno – 7: Made a couple of routine stops and also made a fine save to deny Doherty one-handed before the break.

Calum Chambers – 5: Not what you’d typically expect from Chambers; got forwards really well, but Wolves were able to play around him on occasion and he lost Jimenez for the equalizer.

Sokratis – 6: Made a couple of good blocks and was generally solid in defence.

David Luiz – 7: One of his good days. He was solid in defence and helped the team to lunch attack in some cases.

Matteo Guendouzi – 5: Energetic, tidy, got stuck in. Moaned when he got tackled. Did what he does. Didn’t really do it enough.

Kieran Tierney – 7: Looked set for a difficult afternoon against Adama Traore when he was targeted early doors by Wolves. But the Scotland international stuck to his task well and gave as good as he got, before offering an outlet the other way.

Lucas Torreira – 6: Quietly effective from the Uruguayan. Here, there and everywhere. Needs to take a little more care in possession though.

Mesut Ozil – 7: Typically neat and tidy, knitted play together well. Made a difference and allowed them to control the game.

Dani Ceballos – 6: All-action performance from the Spaniard, playing smart passes in the opposing half and winning tackles in his own defensive third. However, he crucially let Moutinho run for the Wolves goal.

Alexandre Lacazette – 6: Subbed on the hour mark. Teed up Aubameyang’s goal when afforded too much space, but doesn’t lookfully fit.

Subs:

Martinelli 4:Had little to offer in that encounter

Saka 4:Had little to offer in that encounter

Kolasinac 3: Had little to offer in that encounter
