Man City Star, Super Eagles Players Celebrate Nigeria’s Independence

Some Nigerian internationals have shown their loyalty and joy for their fatherland as they celebrated Nigeria on her 59th Independence Anniversary.

Leading the line on Tuesday was Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, who wished Nigeria a happy independence day anniversary.

“Happy Independence Day. Naija @59.”

Also, Vice-Captain, William Troost-Ekong tweeted on Tuesday as he wished Nigeria a 59th happy independence day celebration.

“Happy 59th Independence Day to our beloved.”

According to former Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo, he congratulated Nigeria on the occasion of her 59th Independence Day Anniversary.

“Happy Independence Day Nigeria.”

In the words of Manchester City defender, Tosin Adarabioyo, he says: “The 1st of October marks Nigerian Independence Day as well as the start of #BlackHistoryMonth. It was only right that I pulled out the most iconic Nigeria shirt from the 2018 World Cup! 💪🏾⚽🇳🇬

In the same vein, Super Eagles defender, Shehu Abdullahi revealed that Nigeria gave him the platform to represent the country at international games and he’s glad to celebrate Nigeria @59.

“I’m glad Nigeria is 59-year-old today.

“Football gave me opportunity to represent Nigeria in various National teams, winning medals with the U20 Team, CHAN Team, Olympic Team & @NGSuperEagles serves memories I will forever cherish.

“Nigeria, Thank You! Happy Independence Day

Also, Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi wished Nigeria a happy independence celebration via his instagram handle on Tuesday.

Also, Super Falcons and Barcelona forward, Asisat Oshoala lauded Nigeria’s 59th Independence Day Anniversary.

“Happy Independence Day 🇳🇬🇳🇬”

Former Super Eagles forward, Nwankwo Kanu was quick to extend his happy independence Day message via his twitter handle.
