Betting Tips: Weekend Games You Can Bank On For Cash

The weekend is here again for many football and bet lovers to spend their money wisely on teams capable of increasing your bank account.

Though last weekend may have produced some shocking and unpleasant results, this weekend, Soccernet.ng has carefully selected games that you could bank on.

Below are some of the games…

Man City vs Aston Villa

Manchester City resume Premier League action this weekend with a game against Aston Villa at the Etihad.

The Premier League champions will hope that they continue to make up ground on leaders Liverpool, who are six points ahead of them in the Premier League.

MATCH FACTS

City’s record against Villa is somewhat imperious, with the Midlands side last claiming a Premier League win at the Etihad in 2007.

Since 2010, the two teams have met on 16 occasions with City winning 12 times, their last defeat – home or away – coming under Manuel Pellegrini in 2013. Fernandinho is the only current City player who started in that game.

Betting Tips

On paper, Man City are certain to claim the maximum point, however, since football is not mathematics, they should be wary of Aston Villa.

BURNLEY vs CHELSEA

Chelsea make the trip to Turf Moor to take on Burnley in the Premier League having put together a six-match winning streak in all competitions.

However, the Clarets have also enjoyed a strong start to the campaign, with Sean Dyche’s side currently sitting in eighth position in the standings.

MATCH FACTS

Saturday’s meeting will represent the 99th competitive fixture between the two clubs, with Burnley winning 38 times in comparison to 36 victories for Chelsea.

However, the West Londoners have had the better of the head-to-head since Burnley have been playing Premier League football.

Betting Tips

Both teams will be confident of getting more points on the board this weekend, which should lead to a competitive battle at Turf Moor. While the visitors are the marginal favourites to prevail, we feel that Burnley are playing well enough to earn a share of the spoils.

BAYERN MUNICH vs UNION BERLIN

Bayern Munich will be looking to end their two-game winless run in the Bundesliga on Saturday when they welcome Union Berlin to the Allianz Arena.

Niko Kovac’s men are one point off the top of the table in third, while Urs Fischer’s side, who are currently in their first campaign as a member of Germany’s top flight, are 14th.

Although Bayern are third in a very tight Bundesliga after eight games, they are enduring their worst start to a league campaign since 2010.

MATCH FACTS

This will be the first meeting between the sides at Allianz Arena. Bayern Munich and Union Berlin have met just once in this century, as the latter are in their debut season in the Bundesliga. Both teams played a friendly ten years ago, which was won by the Bavarian giants with the score of 3:1.

Betting Tips

Although Union Berlin may be able to exploit Bayern’s recent defensive frailties with an early goal, the home side should have more than enough to get back to winning ways in the Bundesliga.

LECCE vs JUVENTUS

Juventus travel to play Lecce on Saturday afternoon as they look to take their winning run in Serie A to six games.

Maurizio Sarri’s side are currently one point clear at the top after eight games, with the promoted side sitting in 16th with seven points.

MATCH FACTS

Saturday’s encounter will be the 25th meeting between the two teams, with Juventus unsurprisingly holding the better record, winning on 14 occasions with Lecce victorious just three times. Therefore, there has been seven draws between the two.

Betting tips

Juventus will be in a confident mood for this game and should possess far too much quality in all areas of the pitch for Lecce on Saturday.

INTER MILAN vs PARMA

Inter Milan will be looking to continue their excellent start to the 2019-20 Serie A campaign when they welcome Parma to San Siro on Saturday night.

Antonio Conte’s side have won seven of their eight matches this term to sit second in the table behind Juventus, while Parma are eighth having won four and drawn four of their eight league fixtures thus far.

MATCH FACTS

Inter Milan have solid home record vs Parma – 13 wins, 8 draws and 2 losses.

Seven of the last eight H2H meetings between the teams have seen fewer than three goals scored.

Betting tips

We expect Conte’s side to pick up another three points in Italy’s top-flight courtesy of a two-goal success.

ATLETICO MADRID vs ATHLETIC BILBAO

Atletico Madrid will be looking to win in La Liga for the first time since the end of September when they host Athletic Bilbao on Saturday night.

A run of three straight draws has seen Diego Simeone’s side drop to fifth position, while Bilbao have lost two of their last three to sit eighth in the division.

MATCH FACTS

Los Indios won the previous five games on the trot. The last Bilbao won against this opponent was back in 2013.

Nine of the preceding ten games at this venue ended in nine wins and a draw. Six of the past nine clashes at this stadium saw the hosts keeping clean sheets.

Betting tips

It is difficult to imagine that this will be an open affair full of goals, Atletico are just not that type of team. Simeone’s side are so strong at home, though, and we fancy them to record a narrow win in the capital.
