Aubameyang wins Arsenal’s August Goal of the Month award

Arsenal’s star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been named as the winner of the club’s first Goal of the Month award of the season.

The Gabon international’s fine strike against Burnley at Emirates Stadium came out on top, receiving 36 per cent of the vote.

French teammate Alexandre Lacazette came a close second, claiming 34 per cent of the vote for his improvised finish in the same game.

Auba’s winner at Newcastle United came third, while Lucas Torreira’s consolation at Liverpool came fourth.
