Arsenal Star Doubtful For Watford Clash

Arsenal winger, Nicolas Pépé, faces fitness test after it was confirmed that he coped an injury before arriving for national duty for Ivory Coast.

Ivory Coast football association’s confirmed on their official website that the Arsenal player arrived at the national camp with an injury.

“Nicolas Pépé, injured with his club, came in to declare it late on Wednesday afternoon,” a statement read.

Pepe, who joined the Gunners from Lille during the summer transfer window, played the full 90 minutes in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw against Tottenham in the Premier League at the weekend.

Ivory Coast manager, Ibrahim Kamara, included Pépé in his squad for the upcoming friendly ties against Benin and Tunisia.

Arsenal travel to Vicarage Road to face Watford on September 15th and Emery will be hoping Pépé will be fit on time to face the Hornets.
