2020 Olympic Qualifiers: Super Eagles Winger Charges Dream Team To Go For Victory Against Sudan

Super Eagles winger, Ahmed Musa has charged Nigeria’s U-23 team popularly known as the Dream Team to play out their hearts in order to overcome Sudan in the first leg of the 2020 Olympic qualifiers.

The team will face Sudan on Thursday, 5th September at the Al Merriekh Stadium in Omdurman before the return leg a fortnight at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Delta State on 10th September.

The former Leicester City star urged the players to be dedicated and improve their work rate if they are to make it to the next round of the qualifiers.

“I am here to encourage and pledge my support to you due to the importance of the game ahead of you,” Musa said.

“I have played for the U23 before making my debut for the Super Eagles in 2010, and with dedication, hard work and grace of God, today I’m the Super Eagles captain.

“Nigeria is blessed with a lot of talented footballers. I am the captain of the Super Eagles not because I am better than most of the players but due to dedication and hard work,” he added.

“I urge you to go all out and beat Sudan because the game serves as Olympic qualifiers.”
