Reports: PSG Target Eagles Star As Neymar’s Replacement

With just less than ten days to the close of Transfer window, Neymar’s future at the Parc Des Princes is still not solved, but Paris Saint Germain have already identified a replacement should he leave before the window shuts down.

The Brazilian international has made his intentions known that he wants to leave the Ligue 1 champions this summer with Barcelona interested in bringing him back two years after he left for a world-record fee.

The La Liga champions have had money plus players bid turned down by PSG, with Les Parisiens holding out for the 220m Euros they paid for him two years ago.

However, Thomas Tuchel’s side are aware of the possibility of Neymar leaving and have identified Crystal Palace winger, Wilfried Zaha as a potential replacement.

The Ivory Coast winger who had bids from Arsenal and Everton turned down by the Eagles board has revealed his intention to leave Selhurst Park in search of European football.

Although he handed in a transfer request, it was not granted by Crystal Palace chairman, Steve Parish which ensured his stay at the club after the English window closed early. However, with other Leagues still able to conduct business until September 2nd, Crystal Palace still face the possibility of losing Zaha.

According to the Dailymail, the French champions are considering making a 100m pounds bid for the Eagles star should Neymar eventually leave for Barcelona. Les Parisens are also interested in Paulo Dybala, but that would not stop the club from making a move for Zaha.

And with Mbappe and Cavani limping off in the team’s 4-0 victory over Toulouse last Sunday, Tuchel may urge the board to intensify moves to sign the Eagles star.
