Betting Tips: Weekend Games That Can Double Your Money

It’s another round of games in major European Leagues this weekend, which means it is another chance to make some money. Last weekend saw us got all predictions right and with the Serie A kicking off this weekend, it can only get better.

There were wins for Liverpool, Arsenal and Real Madrid last week, while Man City, Bayern Munich and Man Utd could only manage draws in their respective matches.

Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain meanwhile suffered shocking losses but will be hoping to bounce back this weekend. With the games coming thick and fast now, there will be some shocking results.

However, Soccernet.ng will continue to give out betting tips every weekend on games that fans can stake on.  Here are this weekend’s picks.

Liverpool vs Arsenal: The two sides with a 100% record in the Premier League go head to head in Saturday’s evening kickoff at Anfield. Liverpool edged out Southampton 2-1 last time out, while Arsenal also beat Burnley by the same scoreline.

Nevertheless, It is Liverpool who will go into the clash as the favourites. The Reds are unbeaten in their last eight matches against the Gunners and have scored a massive nine goals in their last two home games against the North London side.

Match Facts:

Liverpool have not lost at home in 39 premier league matches- the second longest unbeaten home record after Chelsea (86)

The Reds have scored at least two goals in their last 11 premier league matches.

Last six games involving the two sides at Anfield have seen more than two goals.

Betting Tips: Arsenal will feel they are better prepared this time around than last time when they suffered a 5-1 defeat. However, it will still be hard to look past Liverpool, although it may be a little competitive this time. There will also be goals in this match with Roberto Firmino likely to be among the scorers having scored eight times against them. ( Liverpool win, Over 2.5)

Barcelona vs Real Betis: Barcelona will be hoping to bounce back from a shock opening day loss to Athletic Bilbao when they welcome Real Betis to the Camp Nou. The Blaugrana were beaten in the opening La Liga clash at the San Mames stadium courtesy an Aduriz spectacular overhead kick.

Valverde was without Lionel Messi for that particular game due to a calf strain, but the Argentine has been passed fit for the clash against Los Verdiblancos. His return will be a huge boost for Valverde who watched his team struggle to create any real chance against Bilbao.

They also face a Betis side who suffered a 2-1 home defeat Real Valladolid in their opening match, so should be a walk in the park for them.

Match Facts

The champions have scored more than two goals in nine of their last 10 home games against Betis in all competitions.

They have also won 10 of their last 12 games against the Green and Whites in all competitions.

The Blaugrana have kept a clean sheet in five of their last seven La Liga games.

Betting Tips: It’ll be a huge shock if the champions fail to get maximum points at home, so expect a dominant performance from Barca. (Barcelona and Over 2.5)

Real Madrid vs Real Valladolid: Unlike Barcelona, Madrid started their campaign on a winning note, beating Celta Vigo away from home 3-1. Despite a rocky preseason, Los Blancos got going from the start as goals from Karim Benzema, Toni Kroos and Lucas Vasquez secured maximum points for Zidane’s team.

They will hope to make it two wins out of two when they take on a Valladolid side who also started on a positive note, beating Real Betis away from home.

However, Zidane will still have to do without Eden Hazard who has been ruled out for four weeks. But Gareth Bale should feature once again, despite Zidane stating during the preseason that the club are hoping to sell him.

Match Facts

Madrid have won their last six games at home against Valladolid in all competitions.

They have also scored at least two goals in their last six games against the Whites and Violets in all competitions.

Betting Tips: Although with Madrid, you never know what to expect, they should still see off Valladolid easily. However, they are also likely to concede. (Real Madrid and Over 2.5 or GG)

Bournemouth vs Man City:  Man City will hope put last week’s disappointing draw against Spurs behind them when they travel to the Vitality Stadium to take on Bournemouth. The Champions were denied a win against the Lilywhites after Gabriel Jesus 90th minute winner was disallowed by VAR for a Rodri foul.

Nevertheless, they will hope to go back to winning ways when they take on the Cherries who picked up three points on the road last time out. Eddie Howe’s team got the better of Aston Villa at Villar Park last week and will hope to continue in that form when they welcome the champions.

Match Facts:

City have won their last eight away games in the premier league.

Bournemouth’s last three Premier League home games have seen less than three goals.

Man City’s last three Premier League games have witnessed over 2.5 goals

Betting Tips: Expect the Champions to bounce back this weekend, although it won’t be easy. ( Man City win and over 1.5)

Tottenham vs Newcastle: Spurs got an impressive point at the home of champions last weekend and are expected to see off Newcastle who are winless from their first two matches.

The Magpies suffered a 1-0 home loss to Arsenal on the opening day of the season before going down to Teemu Pukki’s hattrick at Carrow Road last week. Barring the unexpected, their losing run is expected to continue when they make the trip to London.

Match Facts:

Spurs have won their last four matches against Newcastle in all competitions.

Spurs last three premier league games have witnessed over 2.5 goals

Betting Tips: It’s hard to see anything but a Spurs win. (Tottenham Win)

Other Picks

Parma vs Juventus ( Juventus win)

PSG vs Toulouse ( PSG win and over 1.5)

Norwich vs Chelsea ( Over 1.5)

NB: Bet responsibly, Stake what you can afford to lose.
