Antoine Griezmann will be tasked with the responsibility of delivering the goals for Barcelona when the Catalans face newly promoted club, Osasuna in Saturday’s La Liga at the El Sadar Stadium.

Griezmann was on fire last weekend as he grabbed two goals that saw Barcelona in the absence of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez defeated Real Betis 5-2.

Several academy players were given the chance to put on first-team colours, and the youngsters responded in fantastic fashion. With several senior players availability still in doubt, the management will once again choose to look toward the famed La Masia to deal with the pressure.

On the other hand, Jagoba Arrasate’s men, who won 17 consecutive home games last season on their way to being crowned champions of the Segunda Division, have made a solid return to the top flight, collecting four points from a possible six to sit above Barca in the table.

Head to Head

Osasuna have played Barcelona 23 times, but Barca lead the head to head with 16 wins to Osasuna’s three.

The last time the two teams played was back in the 2016/17 season – the campaign Osasuna went down. The match ended 7-1 to Barcelona, with Messi taking a starring role which included two goals.

Possible Line Up

Osasuna: Ruben; Vidal, Hernandez, Garcia, Estupinan; Ibanez, Tollar, Brasanac, Torres; Avila, Cardona

Barcelona: Ter Stegen; Semedo, Pique, Lenglet, Alba; Roberto, Busquets, de Jong; Perez, Griezmann, Rafinha.

Betting tips: After the early defeat against Atletic Bilbao, Barcelona have bounced back to winning ways and are expected to pick another precious three points against Osasuna.
