Transfer News: Gianluigi Buffon, Paul Pogba close to Juventus Return

Juventus have reportedly reached an agreement with legendary goalkeeper, Buffon, which will see him return to the club. The signing will be confirmed after the former PSG goaltender completes his medical, Thursday morning, according to the BBC
Gigi returns to familiar settings after he previously spent 17 seasons with the Italian giants, winning 9 Serie A titles, and 4 Copa Italias, before departing for PSG last season.

Juventus are also keen on bringing back Manchester United’s Paul Pogba to Italy. The Old Ladies are reportedly offering a player + cash deal, in a transaction that may see Paulo Dybala and a hefty sum of 70million euros to secure the services of the 150m-rated French World Cup winner.
Juventus have boosted their midfield personnel -that boasted Khedira, Machisio, Pjanic, Can, Matuidi – after a busy summer has witness the arrival of Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal and Adrien Rabiot from PSG.

Juventus are believed to be close to finalizing a deal for Matthijs de Ligt. The young Dutch defender have been closely courted by some of Europe’s biggest clubs including Barcelona but it appears the Ajax captain has decided to continue his development in the Serie A.
Transfer talks between the two parties is said to be at an advance stage.

However, striker Gonzalo Higuain, who still has two years on his contract, has been told by the Italian champions to look for another club. The Old Ladies have informed the player’s agent that the Argentine forward is not in their plans for the coming season. Higuain was on loan at Chelsea last season scoring 5 goals.
