Nigeria 1-0 Tunisia: How Super Eagles Rated

Nigeria’s Super Eagles clinched the third place in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations after beating Tunisia 1-0 courtesy Odion Ighalo’s early opener on Wednesday night.

Uzoho: Had little or nothing to deal with except for few occasions when he was called upon. 5

Troost-Ekong: Was solid for the entire 90 minute as he marshalled the defence with total concentration. 6.5

Aina: Showed glimpse of a perfect full back as he made swift run and great tackle to prevent the Tunisians from attacking. 6.5

Collins: Solids as well from the left and made some excellent run to support the Super Eagles attack. 6.5

Omeruo: Focused and added steel in the Super Eagles that stoped Khaziri from making any serious threat. 6.5

Musa: His darting runs and assist led to Ighalo scoring Nigeria’s opening goal. 7

Iwobi: Yet to fulfill his potentials in the Super Eagles as he made some secondary school errors against Tunisia. 5

Chukwueze: The future of Super Eagles team as he proved to hot to handle against Tunisia. 6

Ndidi: Rock solid and made some timely tackles that prevented the Tunisians from making any serious incursion from the midfield. 6.5

Etebo: Another enterprising player that have adapted himself with any role giving to him by the super Eagles manager, Etebo was solid in the midfield and guided the midfield judiciously. 6.5

Ighalo: His fifth goal may just be enough to win the Golden Boot Award as he scored Nigeria’s opener against Tunisia. 8
