Barcelona striker gets injured

Barcelona Femeni striker, Asisat Oshoala would be out for a while after picking up a hamstring injury against Atletico Madrid.

Oshoala who scored a stunning goal in the encounter was substituted for England forward Toni Duggan in the 71st minute.

Confirming the development she wrote on Instagram, “Tough for me to take but I will be back soon, stronger and even better. @FCBfemeni.”

Oshoala has also been nominated for Player of the Week award. She battles Jade Boho Sayo of Logrono and Yaiza Relea Ramos of Real Betis Balompie for the accolade.
