Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu says he’s delighted to have captained the senior national team against Liberia in Tuesday’s international friendly game.
The game which had Liberia President, George Weah play his final game, saw Nigerian duo of Henry Onyekuru and Simon Nwankwo putting the team ahead before the host reduced the scoreline to 2-1 via a penalty.
Ogu, who captained the team for the first time stated via his twitter handle that it’s an honour to lead Nigeria.
