Ahead of Nigeria’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles in Victoria on September 7, newly Super Eagles invitee, Semi Ajayi says he’s delighted to have received his first call-up to represent the Senior National Team.
Ajayi, who plays for Rotherham in the English Championship League was among the 24-man squad invited by team’s manager, Gernot Rohr.
Having represented the Three Lions U-20 team, Ajayi insisted that playing for the Super Eagles would be a dream come true.
“Always dreamt of representing my country at senior level. Honoured to receive my first call-up for the Super Eagles today. Thank you God #SuperEagles #NationalTeam #GIG,” Ajayi tweeted on his Twitter handle Friday.
