Super Eagles midfielder, Kelechi Iheanacho has revealed that the team would remain focused in their quest of qualifying to the knockout stages of the FIFA World Cup.
Nigeria lost 2-0 to Croatia on Saturday in their opening Group D fixture but Iheanacho, who came on in the second half against Croatia for Odion Ighalo, said that the players would continue to fight on.
“We keep fighting our focus is now on the next game,” Iheanacho wrote on his verified Twitter handle.
Super Eagles next face Iceland on Friday in a do-or-die encounter that could determine the fate of Nigeria.
