Super Eagles defender, Tyronne Ebuehi says it will be a great delight for him if Nigeria beat the Three Lions of England in Saturday’s international friendly match at Wembley.
Ebuehi, who was substituted in the team’s 1-1 draw against DR Congo on Monday due to a slight cramp he developed but has recovered from it, will be hoping to play a part against the Three Lions if selected.
He told KweséESPN on Friday of his desire to see the Super Eagles edge the Three Lions of England at the prestigious Wembley Stadium even though it’s just a warm-up match.
“Playing in a stadium like Wembley is something you dream of.
“We know it is going to be a hard game, but also a very nice one. It’s such a great stadium and everyone is looking forward to playing in it.”
Ebuehi added: “I hope we win. We are going to give it our all and I think we can make it hard for England … I believe we can get a victory.”
The team is expected to travel to Austria for their final training camp where they will face Czech Republic on June 6, in their last friendly match before heading to Russia.
