Mikel, Onazi are in good terms – NFF

The Nigeria Football Federation has quashed reports trending in the social media that Super Eagles duo of Mikel Obi and Ogenyi Onazi are having tensed relationship with each in Austria.

The reports stated that Onazi refused to accept orders from Mikel at their training base ahead of next week commencement of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, where Nigeria is expected to play Croatia on June 16.

The NFF revealed via their Twitter handle that the Super Eagles camp remains peaceful and appealed to rumours monger to stop circulating fake news.

“Avoid fake news. Earlier in training, Captain Mikel and Vice Captain Onazi #SoarSuperEagles #Team9jaStrong,” reads the tweet on the NFF handle.
