Brazil continued to maintain their superb form in pre-World Cup friendly games after they defeated Croatia 2-0 on Sunday at the An field Stadium, to show the Super Eagles on how to clip their wings in Russia.
Croatia are Nigeria’s opening fixture at the World Cup on June 16 and the Brazilian team outplayed their Croatian counterpart before Paris Saint Germaine striker, Neymar scored the first goal of the game with a fine finish before Firmo scored the second goal with a classic finish.
Although the Super Eagles lost 2-1 against England on Saturday, however, they have been given a glimpse of hope on how the team could conquer Croatia despite featuring Luka Modric, Rakitic and others.
Nigeria will face Czech Republic in their final friendly match on Tuesday before flying to Russia.
