Super Eagles of Nigeria were held to a 1-1 against the Democratic Republic Of Congo in an international friendly match at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt on Monday.
Nigeria took the lead in the 15th minutes through William Troost-Ekong after it was beautifully laid down by Kelechi Iheanacho.
However, the team could not consolidate on their lead as DR Congo restored parity in the 78th minutes via a penalty.
All efforts for both teams to snatched the winning goal proved abortive as the game ended 1-1 after 90 minutes.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles are expected to travel to London on Wednesday as they face the Three Lions of England at Wembley on Saturday (June 2nd) before facing the Czech Republic in their final international friendly match.
