Nigeria Football Federation vice-president Seyi Akinwunmi, says the Super Eagles have a good chance of qualifying for the knockout stages of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Nigeria has been pitted in Group D alongside Argentina, Croatia and Iceland.
The team will be hoping to surpass their round of 16 feat as they begin their campaign against Croatia.
However, during a radio interview, Akinwunmi noted that the Super Eagles is blessed with young and experienced players eager to make the nation proud.
“They are young, talented and disciplined and with some luck, they will do wonders in Russia and surprise skeptical Nigerians,” Akinwunmi said.
“There will be 200 million Nigerian rooting for them to victory.
“As a true Nigerian, there is no fear.”
