Liverpool in pole position to sign £13m Simon Moses

By Augustine Akhilomen

Belgian outlet Het Laatste Nieuws have revealed that Liverpool are poised to sign Super Eagles winger, Simon Moses during this summer transfer window as they have fixed a bargain price of £13million on him.

Moses who currently plays for Gent in the Belgian League appears to have impressed some of the Reds scouts who came to watch his game at the weekend.

Although Premier League clubs such as Newcastle and Brighton have shown interest in signing the Nigerian international, Liverpool have, however, taking a big step ensuring they meet with his club and agent before the start of the 2018 World Cup.

Moses received his first call-up under coach Daniel Amokachi in March 2015 and made his debut on the 25th of the same month in an international friendly against Uganda, when he replaced Anthony Ujah after 59 minutes in the game.
