Enyimba midfielder, Oluwadamilare Ojo says the team has the capability to win the CAF Confederation Cup for the first.
The Aba Warriors will face Bidvest in the play-off first leg on Friday in Johannesburg as they hope to qualify for the group stages of the lucrative competition.
However, having won the CAF Champions League twice, Ojo told CAF online that the calibre of players in the team is good enough to win the competition.
“It’s true Enyimba has not won the CAF Confederation Cup but we are determined more than ever and I believe with the calibre of players in our team we can go all the way.
“With all modesty, I think Enyimba has the best collection of experienced players in the NPFL (Nigeria Professional Football League) and that’s why it would be hard for me to pick one player as the joker against Bidvest.
“The difference between Enyimba and other teams is the quest for success always, and that is why they are always recruiting top coaches and good players,” Ojo added.
