After Paris Saint-Germain crashed out to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, there have been reports of a “revolution” in the Parisian club. Many stars will be shown the door. Will Marco Verratti be among them?
Barcelona are monitoring the situation because, according to Diario SPORT, they have never stopped seeing him as a good possibility. Barcelona tried their hardest to pry him from PSG’s hands last summer, although they were unsuccessful.
That report in SPORT also says Verratti himself is open to the move, thinking a new league and teammates such as Sergio Busquets is exactly what he needs to further himself.
However, the report goes on to say that Barça think that PSG will do their best to retain the midfielder amidst all the exits they have planned.
