They claim Mourinho is desperate to sign Barca midfielder Gomes and the Special One is preparing a bid for the 24-year-old.
The Portugal international has struggled to impress at the Nou Camp following his move to Barca in 2016.
Gomes has started just four La Liga games under Ernesto Valverde this time out.
Mourinho is desperate to land Gomes after giving up on his Barca teammates Sergi Roberto and Samuel Umtiti, who topped the Special One’s transfer wish list.
