Ghana beat Super Eagles to win WAFU Cup

The Black Stars of Ghana have emerged as champions of the WAFU Cup of Nations after they recorded a resounding 4-1 win over the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Sunday.

The Super Eagles who did not concede any goal before Sunday’s final fell like a pack of cards at the Cape Coast Stadium as the Black Stars tore them apart.

Stephen Sarfo got the opening goal for the hosts late in the first half before two second-half penalty kicks helped secured by supersub Patrick Razaq saw the Black Stars cruising to victory.

Another goal was added for Ghana in stoppage time before Rabiu Ali with the last kick of the game and what a stunner.

Aside from the trophy and bragging rights, the Black Stars have won for themselves a reward of 100, 000USD
