Hazard to reject move to Spain

Real Madrid and Barcelona target Eden Hazard is set to reject offers from the Spanish giants and remain with the Premier League Champions for another season, according to Don Balon.

Hazard was in scintillating form last season as he led the Blues to the Premier League title and the FA Cup finals.

The Belgian international is one of the best players in the world and he has been a pivotal figure in the Premier League in the last few years.

He played 36 Premier League games, he scored 16 goals and provided five assists last season.

Barcelona want a replacement for Neymar who moved to Paris Saint-Germain for a world record fee earlier this week, his departure has left Ernesto Valverde seriously short of options in the attack.

Real Madrid is also struggling to get the best out of Gareth Bale due to constant injury worries and Zinedine Zidane has opted for his replacement as he tipped Hazard to be the ideal player to fill the space.

However, Barcelona and Real Madrid will likely have to set their sights elsewhere as Hazard has shut the door on a Chelsea exit this summer.

Additionally, the player knows he will not be as important to the first-team setup at either of the aforementioned clubs as he is now at Chelsea.

With few weeks into the new season, the La Liga giants will have to make the necessary adjustments to their squad before the end of the transfer window.
