Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu isn’t dropping their interest for PSG midfielder Marco Verratti.
Marca says Bartomeu is sending a message to the Italian that the Blaugrana will wait until the last possible moment of the window to sign him if that’s what it takes.
Despite the intransigent stance of Paris Saint-Germain, who are still refusing to sit down and negotiate, the Catalans won’t give up and hope that eventually Nasser Al-Khelaifi agrees to a move.
“We are going to wait until August 31,”Bartomeu said in a message to Verratti on Saturday.
Verratti still wants to play in Barcelona and will continue to try to get the Paris club sell him, meanwhile,he will have to toe the line.
