Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is stepping into the battle for PSG midfielder Marco Verratti.
The Italy international is this summer’s No1 transfer target for Barcelona, however PSG are refusing to do business.
TMW says United scout José Mayorga has held talks with representatives of Verratti to register their interest.
The midfielder has his heart set on Barca, but Mourinho’s interest could turn his head.
PSG are insisting Verratti won’t leave in the coming weeks – not even for €100m.
