Liverpool warn Barcelona to stay off Coutinho

Barcelona has been warned that not even a bid in excess of the £72million they’re reportedly willing to spend on Philippe Coutinho will be enough to lure himfrom Liverpool.

That’s the view of Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler amid reports the La Liga giants have made a serious bid for the Brazilian playmaker.

Jurgen Klopp recently signalled that bid had been rejected, with the Liverpool manager talking up how happy Coutinho is at Anfield.

‘He is a fantastic footballer and a fantastic boy. I know that he feels completely more than fine and comfortable. He loves the club and the city.

‘He’s a key player for us. He feels more than fine in Liverpool.’
