Why im leaving Barcelona for Monaco – Mboula

Jordi Mboula has explained his decision to leave Barcelona for AS Monaco.

The teen’s move to ASM was confirmed on Wednesday.

Mboula posted to social media:”I want to tell you that from today, I am starting a new professional stage in Monaco. First of all, I am very proud to have defended the FC Barcelona shirt, highlighting all the support it has given me since I entered the club nine years ago. Here I have been trained as a player and above all as a person, and I will always be indebted to this club.

“In the life of a player there are moments in which decisions have to be made, and after a very deep assessment, I believe that I must accept this new challenge, since I feelprepared and motivated to be able to play in one of the great European clubs.

“I want to thank all the people of FCBarcelonawho have helped and supported me in the last eight seasons, that includes all my coaches and coaching staff, all the people of La Masia and, especially, all my teammates who have left a trace in my heart and thousands of anecdotes for the memory … “
