Musa’s Responsible Family Man And Can’t Beat His Wife – Pinnick

By Augustine Akhilomen

Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick has come to the defence of Super Eagles winger, Ahmed Musa over a report published by the British Sun on Thursday claiming he allegedly beats up his wife was untrue.

The newly elected Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) executive member wrote in a series of tweets on his twitter handle that Musa remains a cool and responsible family man who won’t engage in a physically challenge with his wife.

It was reported on Thursday morning that Musa was detained by the police on suspicion of common assault for several hours before been released.

”I’m in touch with Ahmed Musa. Reports of wife battering are false. Musa remains a responsible family man & player.”

”Ahmed Musa, is also very committed to seeing that we realize our dreams of making it to Russia 2018 World Cup.”

He quarried the British tabloids for inciting the public over such report and could have done more harm and good on the Leicester City player.

According to the dailymail A Leicester City spokesman said: ‘We are aware that Ahmed Musa has today cooperated with a police inquiry relating to a disturbance in the early hours of this morning.

‘The inquiry has since been closed and no further action is to be taken.

‘We see no reason for formal action internally, though Ahmed will be given the opportunity to discuss the matter with football management when the squad returns.’

Meanwhile, the former CSKA Moscow player is yet to react with the reports as he’s focused on regaining his starting shirt with the Foxes before the close of the Premier League season.
