The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has extended invitation to FK Austria Wien striker, Olanrewaju Kayode as replacement for injured Victor Osimhen for Super Eagles double header friendlies against Senegal and Burkina Faso slatedfor this month in London.
The NFF announced via its official twitter handle on Wednesday that the Austria-based striker has been included in the team. “Olanrewaju Kayode of Austria Wien has been invited in place of Victor Osimhen, who is still recovering from injury,” the statement reads on twitter.
Super Eagles’ technical adviser, Gernot Rohr last Wednesday released his list of 25-man squad for the international friendly matches against the Teranga Lions of Senegal and Etalons of Burkina Faso this March in London.
Nigeria will be up against Senegal’s Teranga Lionson Thursday, 23rd March before taking on the Etalons of Burkina Faso four days later. Both matches will be played at The Hive, home ground of Barnet Football Club.
