| Barcelona celebrate historic comeback against PSG |
It was a crazy night at Camp Nou, unbelievable, astonishing emotions has Barça made history by becoming the first team ever to turn around a 4-0 first leg deficit in the UEFA Champions League as they beat PSG 6-1 at the Camp Nou to progress to the quarter final 6-5 on aggregate.
It was against all odds, but Barcelona kept on believing.. Neymar scored a brace while Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and an own-goal coupled with a Cavani strike at 3-1 meant Barça led 5-1 and with 11 seconds to go, Sergi Roberto won it for the hosts, sending the stadium into an abode of total madness.. Here’s how the players fared, they all contributed to the win, they were all top draw.

MARC-ANDRÉ TER STEGEN – 11
Man didn’t have much to do but was 10/10 when called upon. Had no chance to stop Cavani’s bullet but then he pulled a crucial save at 3-1 to deny the Uruguayan his second, the save of the game.. And guess what, he won the free kick in PSG’s half that led to Barça’s winner… Crazy stuff eh? We’ll be using this word a lot here today. Crazy!
JAVIER MASCHERANO – 11
Had Draxler in his pockets the entire game, his passion, focus and commitment was top draw. Although he almost conceded a penalty, had a match-winning tackle on Di Maria in the second half… Superb display. Crazy!
GERARD PIQUÉ – 11
Not his best game but he was crucial to his team in defence… Miscalculated Cavani’s shot for the goal… Carried the ball from defence well and also helped a bit in attack. Crazy!
SAMUEL UMTITI – 11
Easily the best signing of the season, he was the best player in defence and arguably second best performer of the night. He didn’t lose a single duel in the air, his passing was one of the best, positioning was the best we’ve seen from him all season… Jewel. Crazy!
IVAN RAKITIC – 11
One of the inside reasons Barça won.. He was so good, especially in defence even if he wasn’t spectacular in attack… Made some really good tackles and interceptions whilst also helping his team recover many balls. Crazy!
SERGIO BUSQUETS – 11
Looked to have recovered his form, he was superb for the entire period of the game… Fantastic as he had the entire PSG midfield in his palm.. Passing was amazing, defensive duties was top draw… Fantastic. Crazy!
ANDRÉS INIESTA – 11
Haven’t been at his best since recovering from injury but this was a different case… He was really good and motivated the team going forward.. Had a nice shot that went just wide, contributed to two of the goals before being subbed off for Arda Turan in the second half. Crazy!
LIONEL MESSI – 11
Not the best Messi-game as he was congested and triple-marked every time so he saw limited balls in dangerous areas, but still, he was crucial to the win.. Scored from the spot to make it 3-0 and his fine pass to Suarez led to the penalty that gave Barça the 5-1 lead. Celebrated like a mad man at final whistle, the passion. Crazy!
RAFINHA ALCÁNTARA – 11
Not a game he would’ve liked has he made some really poor decisions but he grew as the game went on.. His cross into the box led to Barça’s first goal. Crazy!
LUIS SUÁREZ – 11
It was win at all cost for the Uruguayan, tried all he could to help his team, worked so hard.. Scored an important goal three minutes into the game that really helped the team’s momentum.. Great game. Crazy!
NEYMAR – 11
A level above everyone else in this game, he is a gift from God.. Almost won Barça the game singlehandedly… Contributed to five of Barcelona’s six goals including two goals and an assist… Broke the CL assist record with 8 in one season.. That free kick was pure class. Crazy!
