Ex international, Dosu Joseph has applauded Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr for injecting young players for the forthcoming international friendly matches against Burkina and Senegal in London.
Rohr has included new players such as Hannover 96 striker, Noah Joel Bazee, ADO Den Haag defender Tyronne Ebuehi and other regular stars including Leon Balogun, Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Victor Moses, Ahmed Musa, Ogenyi Onazi, Carl Ikeme and Wilfred Ndidi.
The Atlanta Olympic gold medalist, told Soccernet.com.ng that Rohr deserves some praises with the players he has invited for the international friendly matches.
“I must commend Gernot Rohr with the team list he has released for the international friendly ties against Burkina Faso and Senegal. I love the infusion of experience and youth in the team list because they are the future of the team, most especially, in 2018 World Cup,” Dosu told Soccernet.com.ng.
“I am particularly happy that he has invited Nigerian born Noah Bazee and Tyronne Ebuehi into the team. At least these two matches will test their mental strength against African opposition,” he said.
