NPFL: Plateau United Must Maintain 100% Focus – Nkiyu

By Augustine Akhilomen

Despite maintaining a solid start in the Nigeria Football Premier League this on going season,  Plateau United coach, Bala Nkiyu says his team should remain focus and take each game as they come.

Plateau United remain unbeaten having won four and drawn one of their last five Premier League matches, to earn 10 points in the process.

On Sunday, they defeated Abia Warriors 2-1 to stay top of the NPFL and Nkiyu told soccernet.com.ng that his players must continue on their impressive form.

“I feel so impressed that Plateau United are at the top of the summit in the Nigeria Professional Football League. I know most people didn’t give us the chance to get to this level but then, I am happy that we are shocking them,” Nkiyu told soccernet.com.ng.

” I must admit that there is more work to be done if we are to remain here till the end of the season. The most important as far as I am concern is for my players to maintain 100% focus so that we can achieve our major goal,” he said.
