Iwobi celebrates first UCL goal

Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi is delighted to score his first UEFA Champions League goal for Arsenal in their 4-1 away win against FC Basel at the St. Jakob-Park, Switzerland on Tuesday.

Arsenal whitewashed the Swiss Super League champions to reach the knock-out stage as Group A leaders. Reacting on the victory, Iwobi took to twitter to express his happiness. “Pleased To Get My First Champions League Goal But Most Importantly, Good To Finish Top Of The Group!” Iwobi wrote on twitter.

Spanish forward, Lucas Perez scored hat-trick in the 8th, 16th and 47th minutes respectively, Iwobi completed the rout for the Gunners in 53rd minute. Cote d’Ivoire forward, Seydou Doumbia scored Basel’s consolatory goal in the 78th minute to end the game 4-1 at full time.

Meanwhile, the 20-year-old Nigerian forward was in action for the entire duration of the game.
