Leicester must beat West Brom for the fans – Musa

Super Eagles forward, Ahmed Musa wants his side to continue working hard for the Club’s supporters when Leicester City take on West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.

The Foxes, buoyed by a run that hasn’t seen them beaten in four games in all competitions, host Tony Pulis’ outfit in the Premier League at King Power Stadium. For Musa, City’s fine form is the result of a brilliant work ethic that must be maintained if Claudio Ranieri’s men are to continue recording positive results.

“We are expecting a very tough game,” said Musa ahead Sunday’s clash. “We’re working very hard because we know that they will give us a very tough game, so we have to win for our fans, for ourselves for our families and for everybody.

“We’ve been very good in our home games this season but we can’t rest, we have to keep working to score more and more goals at home. I’ve been watching West Brom play. They lost to Manchester City last time but we just can’t think about them too much – we must think about ourselves.

“We must think about how we are going to win the game because we want to make the fans happy. We want to win the game because we know how important that is to us and our fans.”

Musa netted his first goal for the Club in his last outing at King Power Stadium, before scoring a crucial equaliser at Tottenham Hotspur last weekend. The striker said of his productivity in front of goal: “I feel very happy because I’ve been working hard and I feel like if I keep doing that, I can keep scoring goals. My confidence is back.

“At the weekend I scored a goal and I feel myself getting more and more confident. I think the game against Tottenham was very important because it was our first away point of the season and it’s very important for the team. For the team, I think it’s one of our best away games and the team will have a lot of confidence after that game.”
