Throughout the season, transfer rumours move at free will, both the realistic and the unrealistic. We’ve heard quite a few ones already this season and the latest is Mundo Deportivo’s episode in which they linked FC Barcelona with a move for Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alarcón.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barça are one of the numerous clubs that have an eye on the 24-year old midfielder who is yet to renew his Real Madrid contract which ends on June 30, 2018. The Club acknowledge that Isco has great qualities and would love him to be Iniesta’s heir at the club, Don Andrés would be 34 at the time of Isco’s contract expiry and getting him for free would be a bargain.
Barça always wanted Isco since his time at Málaga before he moved to Real Madrid in 2013 but the club’s technicians and president Josep María Bartomeu have great love for the player and, well, they have hope despite acknowledging the fact that signing him would be crazily hard given the poor relationship between Barça and Real Madrid as regards to transfers.
Real Madrid will try as much as they can to prevent Barça from touching Isco and will offer him a contract soon, afterwards, they may transfer him to another club with a “never-sell-to-Barca” clause as they did with Di María when he headed to Man United. Everything about this rumour, or a possible transfer is complicated.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Isco and his environment have not ruled out a possible move to Catalonia, the door isn’t closed yet. Both parties are aware that Barça always wanted Isco and if the club could provide him with a life better than the one he’s having at the Spanish capital then the Likelihood might just increase.
Personally, I think signing Isco would be impossible, it just cannot and won’t happen. That’s just it.
