Five players to watch in action against Tanzania

The
Super Eagles are taken on the Taifa stars of Tanzania in an African National
cup qualifier that having nothing but pride and prestige only at stake.
The
super Eagles of Nigeria might have endured purple patch in recent times but
against the Tanzania, the Nigerian side are expected town and redeem themselves
in the eyes of the watching soccer loving Nigerians.
The Tanzania match marks
the beginning of a new reign under German coach Gernot Rohr and we hop that it
starts with a win as we evaluate five super Eagles players to watch against the
Taifa stars of Tanzania when the game begins.
BROWN
IDEYE
The Super Eagle toward who was left out of the
super Eagle squad prior to the World Cup in Brazil and subsequent in the Nations
Cup qualifier under Stephen Keshi of blessed memory is back in the super
carrier and will be expected to start against Tanzania following good
performance in training and in the friendly expedition against Akwa united
where he opened the scoring in the 3-0 detect with a 29 minute finish to make
an impressive impact in the new look Super Eagles.
The Olympiakos forward seems
to have receive his National Team following a goal he scored against Luxembourg
friendly in May. Ideye followed that up with a brilliant strike against Arouca
FC to give the Greek giant (Olympiakos) a 2-1 win in the Europa League
qualification and all eyes will be in Uyo (Akwa Ibom stadium) to know how the
forward will fare in attack especially in the absence of his famous partner in
Eagles attack in the person of Emmanuel Emenike
NOSAKHARE IGIEBOR
The
Benin born mid field player was on of the players who raised
eyebrows as his
names was announced in the Super Eagles mid filed a alongside that trio of John
Obi Mikel (Chelsea), Wilfred Ndidi (KRC Genk) and Ogenyi, Onazi who moved to
Turkish side (Trabzonspor)  in the Transfer
Window.
The talented midfielder have gotten another rare chance to make amends
of his uncharacteristic performance in the super Eagles as he was left out of
the super Eagles squad for the world cup in Brazil and subsequent in the
Nations Cup qualifier under Stephen Keshi following a warm performance against Scotland
in the friendly.
The Maccabi Tel Aviv mid field talent needs to prove himself
yet gain in the Green and White shirt to endear him to the Nigerian fans who
are loosing patience with the super Eagles irrespective of the state of the
Afcon qualifiers as the game against Tanzania looms with matters of time.
OHIDOZIE AWAZIEM
The
talented young star who plies his trades for FCP or to is one defender who all
eyes will be on as regards to his full potential. He is one player in the
defence that can grant Nigerian some level of stability at the backline
following the absence of ever present super Eagles trio in Efe Ambrose, Omeruo
and Godfrey Oboabona.
The brightest point of his game was his performance
against Akwa United where the younger star demonstrated the Super Eagle class
in the Calmness and composure out the ball in the an excellent passing range as
he the back.
Awaziem might use the Tanzania match to make the Eagles central
position his own when action begins earnestly.
VICTOR MOSES
The
Chelsea forward who is in rich vein of form may be poised to start following
some brilliant performance at club level for Chelsea and in the national team
in coup where he was one of the outstanding guys against Akwa United.
Moses has
enjoyed good outing for Chelsea following a goal against Bristol Rovers and in
the match against Burnley where came on for Willian to add gloss to the score
line as converted a cross from Pedro Rodriguez was with a smart finish.
Under Conte
the former Chelsea loanee is beginning to find his feet as Nigeria as set to
enjoying one of the best on the Nigeria shirt. Thanks to Conte’s patience in
Moses as the forward was in imperious form against Akwa United as he dribbled
his way past almost seven players in search of good the time has come for Moses
and it must begin with a sound performance against Tanzania.
VICTOR OSIMHEM

There
is a possibility that the German Coach Gernot Rohr will give a super Eagles
debut to little Pea Victor Osimhen who many were surprised in the initial stage
made the Eagles squad.
Even promising talents like Rabin Ibrahim, Kelechi
Iheanacho and even U- 17 team mate Kelechi Nwakali who have gone on to play for
Arsenal in England did not enjoy such fortune as the 17 years old is ready and
raring to go and may be handed even a starters shirt after even impressing on
the left wing of the attack along side his team mate.
Osimhen started along
with Ideye Brown in Attack against Akwa United and looked very promising and
menacing. The young lad would have added a goal but the bar came to the rescue
as the impressive Osimhen have caught the eye of Rohr who might hand him a
debut as a deserved new and for his performances.
