Ekpo urges Super Eagles to concentrate on World Cup qualifiers

Former Nigeria international, Friday Ekpo has advised Super Eagles players duel less on agitation for money and instead concentrate on their upcoming 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

Ekpo, who spoke on a Brila FM sports programme monitored in Lagos, said that the Eagles should focus their attention on winning the first match of the qualifiers, which is against Zambia and forget about the NFF.

“The players should be focused on winning the first game against Zambia because making a name for themselves and the country is the most important thing to do for now,” he said, adding that the NFF should buckle up considering the economic problem of the country.

“The NFF should buckle up and ensure the necessary things are done to encourage the players called up to have the zeal to put in their best and be happy until the economy is stable again,” the former Mbilinga FC of Gabon player said.
