Barcelona News: 13 September, 2016; Messi and Suarez milestones, Ter Stegen boost

Messi, Suarez and Neymar
It’s another new day, and a special one as FC Barcelona play their first match of the 2016/2017 UEFA Champions League season when they take on Scottish Champions Celtic at the Camp Nou.
There were some happenings prior to the game and the preparations itself, here are some major FC Barcelona news roundups you might have missed during the past day, no bad news, all good news.
FC Barcelona goalkeeper Marc Andre Ter Stegen picked up an injury in training on Friday and was expected to be out for two weeks as speculated by major sources, however, the German goalkeeper has undergone a speedy recovery and is available for the against Celtic tonight although it’s still unclear if he’ll be picked.
The loss against Alaves was a bad thing, but there is something to smile about as star men Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez both achieved appearance milestones in the colours of FC Barcelona despite not being able to rescue their team from the shame if losing at home to a newly-promoted side.

FC Barcelona boss Luis Enrique spoke in his pre-match press conference ahead of the UCL game against Celtic where he talked about the team, Cillessen, Brendan Rodgers, fitness and rotations as Barça look to bounce back from Saturday’s loss.

Jordi Alba was absent for Barça’s game against Alaves as Luis Enrique preferred to give him a rest whilst starting Lucas Digne. The Spaniard is set to return to the starting lineup against Celtic on Tuesday and spoke in a press conference ahead of the encounter at Camp Nou.
